Stephen Ireland busted for lying. : First he said his grandma died so he could skip the Republic of Ireland Euro 2008 qualification match (they lost 1-0). She was surprised to see the news in the paper. Then he said it was his other grandmother who had died. She was also surprised to see that in the newspaper. Oh, no, he meant his divorced grandfather's partner had died. Umm, nope. So now it turns out he was spending time with his "lonely" girlfriend...
