Here's a new one from Ice Cube, off his upcoming album Raw Footage. The first thing I noticed was his look from the Lethal Injection/"Higher Learning" days, which was a good one, as he was making better albums and movies back then. That's not to say he's not still making good music, as Laugh Now, Cry Later was a solid album. In fact, following the pretty average War & Peace albums, Cube seems to be in a nice, comfortable spot with his music. He may never be quite as vital or shocking as his early essential catalog, but he's maintained nonetheless.

This one continues in his recent trend of reflecting on his influence in Hip Hop and society in general, and addresses the bullshit a lot within the genre and media have been spouting. Oh, and just in case you wanted to start the new year out on a positive note, there's a nice visual collection of terrible things that have happened around the world over the past couple decades.
